Denys Borysevych ("we", "us") operates the Snapzle mobile app (the "App"). This page explains what information the App does and does not collect.

Summary

Snapzle is designed to work entirely on your device. It has no user accounts, no backend server, and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about you or your child. The only network activity in the App is showing advertisements.

Photos

When you take a photo or choose one from your photo library, it is used only on your device: to check whether it shows what the photo hunt asked for, to make the puzzle, to illustrate the word in the child's picture dictionary, to let the child trace a shape on it (Shape Safari), to name the color of a spot the child touches (the Color Lab's magic eye), and to compare a Treasure Trail photo with the place it shows. Photos are never uploaded, transmitted, saved to any server, or shared with any third party.

The App checks photos entirely on your device: colors by looking at the photo's pixels, things (for example “a cup”) with Google ML Kit's on-device image labeling, a traced shape from the finger's path, and Treasure Trail places by comparing a small “fingerprint” of two photos (their colors, light and edges, worked out from a tiny copy of each photo). Your photo is never sent anywhere for this, and no results are transmitted or stored outside the App.

Live camera. While the App's camera is open, Snappy looks at the live picture to help the child: he names the color in the middle of the picture, says which thing he recognises (Google ML Kit's on-device image labeling), shows how close the view is to the photo a Treasure Trail is looking for, and says “Snap it!” when the child has found what was asked for. This is worked out on the device, a few times a second, from small copies of the live picture that are let go straight away: the live picture is never recorded, stored, uploaded or shared, and nothing is kept except a photo the child chooses to take. The App does not use the microphone and never records sound or video.

Picture dictionary. The latest photo of each word the child finds on a hunt or with Snappy's Eye is kept in the App's private storage on this device, so the child can look at their dictionary later. Only the App can open these copies. A grown-up can delete all of them at any time in the App's settings (behind the parental gate), and they are removed when the App is deleted. Photo-jigsaw and magic-eye photos are not kept beyond the current game.

Shapes and Treasure Trails. The latest few photos of each shape the child traced (with the traced outline), and the photos a grown-up takes to make a Treasure Trail (with their fingerprints), are kept in the same private storage on this device. “Delete all photos” in the settings deletes them too, a trail can be deleted from the Treasure Trail page, and all of them are removed when the App is deleted.

Text-to-speech

The App can read the vocabulary words aloud using your device's built-in text-to-speech voice. This uses your operating system's own speech engine, not the App. If a voice for a language isn't already installed, your device may download it directly from your device manufacturer (e.g. Apple or Google) the first time it's needed, the same as it would for any other app that uses text-to-speech.

Advertising

The App shows ads via Google AdMob to keep it free. Ads are requested as non-personalized and child-directed:

We do not collect or use your advertising identifier (IDFA/AAID) for ad targeting.
Ads are served using contextual, non-personalized targeting only.
We tag ad requests as child-directed under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google's Families Policy.

Google AdMob may still collect limited technical information necessary to serve and measure ads (such as approximate location derived from IP address, device type, and ad interaction events). See Google's own privacy policy for details: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Data we collect ourselves

None. The App does not have an account system, does not use analytics SDKs, and does not transmit any data to us. A small amount of information (photo hunt progress and stars, your best star rating per difficulty, your sound and voice preferences, the picture dictionary, shapes and trails described above, and the learning progress shown in the App: how well each word is known, counters of games played, the day streak, finished quests, books read, colors mixed, shapes traced, trails followed and earned badges; and, if a grown-up adds child profiles, each child's animal avatar, an optional first name or nickname typed by the grown-up, and the language chosen for that child's words) is stored only on your device using standard local app storage, and is never transmitted anywhere. The learning report for grown-ups is worked out on the device from this information. A grown-up can reset the badges and learning progress, and delete all photos, at any time in the App's settings (behind the parental gate), and removing a child profile deletes that child's photos and progress; everything is removed when the App is deleted.

Children's privacy

This App is designed to be appropriate for children. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children or anyone else, consistent with COPPA. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the address below (though, per the above, the App has no mechanism to collect or transmit such information in the first place).

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this same location with an updated "Last updated" date.

Коротко

Snapzle створено так, щоб він працював повністю на вашому пристрої. У ньому немає облікових записів, немає серверної частини, і він не збирає, не зберігає та не передає жодної персональної інформації про вас чи вашу дитину. Єдина мережева активність Застосунку — показ реклами.

Фото

Коли ви робите фото або обираєте його з фотогалереї, воно використовується лише на вашому пристрої: щоб перевірити, чи на ньому те, що просило фотополювання, щоб скласти пазл, щоб проілюструвати слово в дитячому картинному словнику, щоб дитина могла обвести на ньому форму («Сафарі форм»), щоб назвати колір точки, якої торкається дитина (чарівне око в «Лабораторії кольорів»), і щоб порівняти фото «Стежки до скарбу» з місцем, яке воно показує. Фото ніколи не завантажуються, не передаються, не зберігаються на жодному сервері і не передаються третім сторонам.

Застосунок перевіряє фото повністю на вашому пристрої: кольори — за пікселями фото, предмети (наприклад, «чашку») — за допомогою розпізнавання зображень Google ML Kit на пристрої, обведену форму — за шляхом пальця, а місця «Стежки до скарбу» — порівнюючи маленький «відбиток» двох фото (кольори, світло й контури, обчислені з крихітної копії кожного фото). Ваше фото для цього нікуди не надсилається, а результати не передаються й не зберігаються за межами Застосунку.

Камера наживо. Поки камера Застосунку відкрита, Snappy дивиться на зображення наживо, щоб допомогти дитині: називає колір у центрі кадру, каже, яку річ упізнав (розпізнавання зображень Google ML Kit на пристрої), показує, наскільки кадр схожий на фото, яке шукають на «Стежці до скарбу», і каже «Фотографуй!», коли дитина знайшла те, що просили. Це обчислюється на пристрої кілька разів на секунду з маленьких копій кадру, які одразу відкидаються: зображення з камери ніколи не записується, не зберігається, не завантажується й нікому не передається, а зберігається лише фото, яке дитина вирішить зробити. Застосунок не використовує мікрофон і ніколи не записує звук чи відео.

Картинний словник. Останнє фото кожного слова, яке дитина знаходить під час полювання або Оком Snappy, зберігається в закритому сховищі Застосунку на цьому пристрої, щоб дитина могла переглядати свій словник пізніше. Лише Застосунок може відкривати ці копії. Доросла людина може будь-коли видалити їх усі в налаштуваннях Застосунку (за батьківським замком), і вони видаляються разом із Застосунком. Фото для пазла й чарівного ока не зберігаються довше, ніж триває поточна гра.

Форми та Стежки до скарбу. Кілька останніх фото кожної форми, яку обвела дитина (з обведеним контуром), і фото, які робить доросла людина, щоб створити «Стежку до скарбу» (з їхніми відбитками), зберігаються в тому самому закритому сховищі на цьому пристрої. «Видалити всі фото» в налаштуваннях видаляє і їх, стежку можна видалити на сторінці «Стежка до скарбу», і всі вони видаляються разом із Застосунком.

Синтез мовлення

Застосунок може озвучувати слова зі словника вбудованим голосом синтезу мовлення вашого пристрою. Для цього використовується мовний рушій вашої операційної системи, а не Застосунок. Якщо голос для якоїсь мови ще не встановлено, пристрій може завантажити його безпосередньо від виробника пристрою (наприклад, Apple чи Google) при першій потребі, так само як і для будь-якого іншого застосунку із синтезом мовлення.

Ми не збираємо й не використовуємо ваш рекламний ідентифікатор (IDFA/AAID) для таргетингу реклами.
Реклама показується лише з контекстним, неперсоналізованим таргетингом.
Ми позначаємо запити реклами як спрямовані на дітей відповідно до Закону США про захист конфіденційності дітей в Інтернеті (COPPA) та Політики Google для сімей.

Дані, які ми збираємо самі

Жодних. У Застосунку немає системи облікових записів, він не використовує аналітичних SDK і не передає нам жодних даних. Невелика кількість інформації (прогрес фотополювання і зірки, найкраща оцінка в зірках для кожного рівня складності, ваші налаштування звуку й голосу, описані вище картинний словник, форми й стежки, а також прогрес навчання в Застосунку: наскільки добре відоме кожне слово, лічильники ігор, серія днів, завершені квести, прочитані книжки, змішані кольори, обведені форми, пройдені стежки й отримані значки; а якщо доросла людина додає профілі дітей — тваринка-аватар кожної дитини, необов’язкове ім’я чи прізвисько, яке вводить доросла людина, і мова слів для цієї дитини) зберігається лише на вашому пристрої у стандартному локальному сховищі застосунку й ніколи нікуди не передається. Звіт про навчання для дорослих обчислюється на пристрої з цієї інформації. Доросла людина може будь-коли скинути значки й прогрес навчання та видалити всі фото в налаштуваннях Застосунку (за батьківським замком), а видалення профілю дитини видаляє її фото й прогрес; усе видаляється разом із Застосунком.

Конфіденційність дітей

Цей Застосунок створено з розрахунком на дітей. Ми свідомо не збираємо жодної персональної інформації від дітей чи будь-кого іншого, відповідно до COPPA. Якщо ви вважаєте, що дитина надала нам персональну інформацію, зв’яжіться з нами за адресою нижче (хоча, як сказано вище, в Застосунку взагалі немає механізму збору чи передачі такої інформації).

Зміни до цієї політики

Ми можемо час від часу оновлювати цю політику конфіденційності. Зміни публікуватимуться в цьому самому місці з оновленою датою «Останнє оновлення».
